Why MCDBA?

The Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) credential is the premier certification for professionals who implement and administer Microsoft SQL Server databases. The certification is appropriate for individuals who derive physical database designs, develop logical data models, create physical databases, create data services by using Transact-SQL, manage and maintain databases configure and manage security, monitor and optimize databases and install and configure Microsoft SQL Server. The MCDBA Certification is appropriate for Database administrators, Database analysts and Database developers.

MCDBA Prerequisites

Prior to MCDBA courses, the applicants have to know A+ /Network+ Certification. An applicant without the above knowledge will find it very difficult to proceed. The Programming Logic is highly recommended as a prerequisite for MCDBA students.

MCDBA 2000 Exam Requirements

Applicants are required to pass three core exams and one elective exams that provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise. These exams are developed with the input of professionals in the industry, and they reflect how Microsoft products are used in organizations throughout the world.

MCDBA 2000 Schedule

The schedule for MCDBA for courses 2152, 2153, 2072 is the same as MCSE,. The applicants also need to take course 2073.
